Mr. Stephan T. McGuire, producer of the internationally acclaimed documentary starring Leonardo di Caprio, THE 11TH HOUR, has played a significant role in helping to bring GAWA to live.
During our first months of planning, we have had the pleasure of consulting with Mr. McGuire on numerous issues, and as highlighted Mr. McGuire has joined GAWA in Namibia during the launch phase of GAWA.
During his visit to Namibia, Mr. McGuire and GAWA have:
- Meet with our leading politicians and decision makers
- Delivered workshops for Namibian companies of all sizes
- Held special viewings of The 11th hour, with Q&A sessions with the Namibian public
- Will visit some of Namibia’s schools to talk on the subject of Global Warming and Green issues.
